Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous solution comprised of a hight concentration of platelets and WBC’s suspended in plasma. Platelets are the body;s first line of defense to stop bleeding. Autologous Plate Rich Plasma (PRP) is concentrated platelets and white blood cells produced through centrifugation of the patient’s own blood.

Autologous Platelet Gel (APG) is a biologic substance prepared by the surgeon from the patient’s own PRP that is mixed with thrombin and calcium chloride.
